Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 22, 2026
1. Scope of Agreement
This Privacy Policy explains how FeteFetch collects, uses, and safeguards data when you sign up as an event host or participate as a guest to upload photos and videos to Google Drive.
2. Google OAuth Integration & Access
FeteFetch uses Google OAuth to authenticate event hosts and request authorization to interact with their Google Drive storage.
- Access Level: We request access scope
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive.file. This scope permits FeteFetch to create folders and upload media files only inside folders generated by the FeteFetch application. We cannot view, modify, or delete any other files or folders in your Google Drive. - Credentials Security: Host refresh tokens and credential secrets are encrypted using industry-standard AES-256 encryption before storage.
- Data Portability: All uploaded photos and videos bypass intermediary backend server storage and are transferred directly from the guest browser client straight to the host’s Google Drive account via Google’s Resumable Upload protocol.
3. Data We Collect
For hosts, we store the basic Google account email address to manage work folders. For guests, we only collect optional guest display names and guest greeting text messages that you choose to submit alongside your media files.
4. Cookies & Trackers
FeteFetch utilizes browser Local Storage and minimal session tokens solely to store your current theme modes (light/dark preference) and active host login states. We do not place advertisement tracking scripts or sell analytics to third parties.
5. Data Retention & Deletion
Hosts can disconnect their Google Drive integration at any time from the settings dashboard. If you delete your account or an album, FeteFetch deletes its database reference keys instantly.
6. Changes to this Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy. Any updates will be posted to this page with the modified revision date.
